Partner Visa
For obtaining a Partner visa, you must be married or in a de facto relationship with:
- an Australian citizen
- an Australian permanent resident
- an eligible New Zealand citizen.
You must be legally married to the sponsor or
You must have been in a de facto relationship for at least 12 months.
You should first apply for a temporary Partner visa, and then subsequently for a permanent Partner visa.

Prospective Marriage Visa (SC 300) is to stay in Australia for between 9 and 15 months from date of grant of visa.. You must be 18 years old, intend to marry your prospective spouse before the visa period ends and be sponsored by
